The Federal Reserve has played a key role in shaping post-crisis financial regulation, especially in the aftermath of congressional legislation from the last year (S. 2155). The Fed’s monetary policy moves have also been increasingly scrutinized, with great anticipation of their coming decisions. Please join the Bipartisan Policy Center on July 11 for a wide-ranging fireside chat with Federal Reserve Vice Chair Randal Quarles. A panel discussion will follow.

* Before the keynote discussion, BPC President Jason Grumet will posthumously honor former Federal Reserve Vice Chair Alice Rivlin with BPC’s 2019 Patriot Award. This recognition will be given to her family. The award recognizes leaders who demonstrate political courage and exceptional leadership throughout their tenures in public service, even in the most partisan of times. Alice was a brilliant economist, trailblazering leader, and a dear friend and invaluable contributor to BPC.
